What the heck is this page?

If you played Majestic or heard about it you must read this! Majestic was a revolutionary game which put the player at the center of their very own suspense thriller. It used the Internet and devices that connected to it to put the player at the heart of an evolving conspiracy mystery, which would slowly begin to infiltrate their lives. The game would call the player on the phone, send faxes, instant message them and send e-mails, to make them feel implicated in the story. Majestic was groundbreaking and phenomenally successfully. Why then did Electronic Arts pull the plug on it 5 months in?

To better understand that, it may help to learn what the game Majestic was about. Note: you may need to read the next section a few times to really understand it. Majestic the game begins with the player uncovering the secrets of what happened to Anim-X (Anim-X is the fictious company that created Majestic). Here's the game: In order to create Majestic, Anim-X developers do extensive conspiracy theory research. They end up finding out too much and certain areas of the goverment are not happy. Because the player signed up for Majestic they are now also the target of the governments attention.

Jump to real life; In order to develop Majestic, Electronic Arts (the real life developers of Majestic), unknowingly (or knowingly?) discovered very sensitive goverment information. EA (aka Anim-X, within Majestic) came under pressure to discontinue the game because they were actually exposing truths (through the game) which the government had been hiding. Furthermore, when players signed up for Majestic they were asked for a mountain of personal info to "enhance the game expierence". It has been speculated that the goverment shut down Majestic and accquired all player registration information!

Majestic players began recieving strange calls and emails not related to the game. Many of them are still getting strange calls months after the game ended. Many have reported being followed. Still others have disappeared completely. The truth is #4$#@%^%& ^% ^%^^^#... transmission interupted

First, we must find out how much influence the goverment had on the shutdown of Majestic. What did EA find out that the goverment was hiding? Are Majestic players currently being targeted by the goverment?

Second, I expect the information we uncover to be not what the government and possibly EA wants to see posted all over the Internet. I expect this site to be hacked and brought down whenever I post new info. I'll do my best to keep this site up. I will post all information I find on a secret page of this site (The Omega Chronicle). I will move and hide the page from time to time trying to keep it from beoing brought down. We must expose the truth!
